Great ideas to help drive traffic. Blog carnivals are very popular. You can either participate or offer to host them yourself. Writing articles & submitting them to article directories like ezinearticles is also a great way to generate traffic.

There is a neat site called Wellness360 that allows you to track you daily food intake and monitor your weight loss by caloric index. There are also articles and a wealth of health info.
Also, the more you stay on track, the more points you earn that translate into dollars. So, they pay you to lose weight, essentially.
